Backflow Inspections

Why do we need a Backflow Inspection?

Annual backflow testing is required by the State of Texas and the City of Houston. TCEQ defines back flow as: Water flowing in the opposite of its intended direction, either from a loss of pressure in the supply lines or an increase in pressure on the customer’s side. When the water backflows it can carry contaminants with it into the water lines.

To keep this from happening you should have backflow preventers on all hose bibs and on your sprinkler or irrigation system. Backflow preventers can fail over time and become ineffective. This is why you should have your backflow preventor tested each year. If the device fails the test it either needs to be repaired or replaced.

We can Inspect your backflow preventer and repair or replace it if needed. We are a full-service backflow testing company. We provide both residential and commercial backflow inspections.

We test all devices except fire systems
