Dear Water Customers,

 We are very sorry to report that the well for Pine Oak Forest Lake Water System has failed.

We wanted to send this notice to let you know that the water will be out for several days and you will need to make other arrangements for water during that time.

We have called in one of the top well specialists in Texas to pull the well and analyze it to see what has failed and what needs to be done to restore functionality. We have every confidence that they will be able to diagnose the issue quickly.

We are working to have water back on by the end of this week. We are pushing to have this completed sooner if possible. Since the well has not been pulled in the last 30 years we do not yet know what we will find. We will update you if we find that a more time-consuming repair is needed.

 If everything goes smoothly, we will still be required to do lab testing after the well is repaired so the boil water notice you are under (click here for information) will still be in effect when the water comes back on until we get clearance from the lab. Please share this information with your neighbors who may not have received this notice.

We understand this is very inconvenient and we appreciate your patience.
